Right on schedule, the Exponent Development Team releases Exponent 2.0.0 - Release Candidate 1, code named "Progressive Prowess." This is the first of 2 release Candidates scheduled before a stable release just four weeks from now.

Though slightly delayed due to summer schedules, we now present “Righteous Rocket,” the Beta 4 release of Exponent 2.0.  The Exponent Development Team has spent much of this past month and a half fine tuning plans to offer a stable code release this summer.  However, that didn’t prevent many fixes and changes from being incorporated.

At a seemingly breakneck pace, the Exponent Development Team released “Exponent CMS 2.0.0 Beta 3” todaywhich is titled 'Tubular Telepathy'.  This release takes the project even closer to the planned stable release this summer!

Exponent 2.0 Beta 2.1 was released today in response to the report of a security vulnerability discovered by a community member. The majority of Exponent 2.0 sites are affected by this vulnerability, and all Exponent CMS users are highly advised to update their code.

Today, the Exponent Development Team is very proud to bring you “Exponent CMS 2.0.0 Beta 2,” aptly entitled 'Ferocious Fanatic'.

With developers working franticly to get the next release out the door, you should expect to see the Beta 2 version around the first week of May.  Hot on the heals of Beta 2 will be Beta 3 about a month later as the team steadily marches to meet an anticipated release of 2.0 Stable this summer.

The Exponent Development Team releases Beta 1.1, a small maintenance release to Exponent's 2.0 codeline.

Today, the Exponent Development Team releases an updated version of Exponent's 2.0 codeline. Codename "Efficient Entropy", this is the first Beta release of the codeline, focussing on fixing major bugs, standardizing deign and development patterns, and stabilizing the overall framework.

The Exponent CMS open source project now has a channel on Freenode IRC!

Over the last couple months, since the launch of Exponent 2.0pr2, Online Innovative Creations – the corporate backing for the Exponent CMS project - has turned its focus inward to improve efficiency for development. After a thorough internal audit to assess workflow, development cycles, the software, and of course, how that pertains to Exponent as a project. To summarize the results: Launchpad, Bazaar, and surrounding technologies aren't proving to be efficient solutions, while Git, Github and the available tools, technologies, and community support are flourishing.
