Exponent's 1.0 codeline is still available, but it should be considered as 'not supported'. Exponent version 0.98 is the current stable release of the 1.0 trunk, and contains several bug fixes and security patches over 0.97.

Exponent version 0.99beta1 is the most current release of the 1.0 trunk, but should not be considered stable (though there are no known issues).  It contains many bug fixes and feature updates over 0.98.

This is the initial implementation of a repository for extensions to Exponent 2.0.  The files here can be downloaded, and then installed using the 'Upload Extension' feature of Exponent.  At this time, the Upload Extension feature does NOT check for version compliance or pre-requisites, so YOU must ensure your system meets the minimum requirements to work after installation.
