A useful, basic primer on SEO but would have liked to see something more specific to Exponent.  I was hoping to learn how I could add/change h1 tags in Exponent, for example.

      Hey Keith,

Great point. To address your interest, depending on what side of the code spectrum you're looking from, Exponent themes typically have a predetermined style sheet for header tags (h1, h2, etc.) that once assigned are easily manipulated in the CKEditor of your Exponent site. You can choose which header style - which coordinates with a header tag for SEO - for a piece of text at your leisure by simply highlighting your text and selecting the appropriate style from your CKEditor toolbar. Alternatively, you can switch your CKEditor to source view and assign your header tags as you would with regular html. Hope this helps.
