In a sharp departure from a normal 'release candidate' (RC) testing process, RC2 will be significantly different than the recently released RC1!  Instead of just polishing up RC1 with a few bugfixes for a stable release of Exponent 2.0 in August, the developers are taking a much different approach.  This new approach should better establish 2.0 Stable as 'the baseline' for all future upgrades, yet it won't delay the planned release schedule and is already reaping tangible benefits.

Right on schedule, the Exponent Development Team releases Exponent 2.0.0 - Release Candidate 1, code named "Progressive Prowess." This is the first of 2 release Candidates scheduled before a stable release just four weeks from now.

Though slightly delayed due to summer schedules, we now present “Righteous Rocket,” the Beta 4 release of Exponent 2.0.  The Exponent Development Team has spent much of this past month and a half fine tuning plans to offer a stable code release this summer.  However, that didn’t prevent many fixes and changes from being incorporated.

At a seemingly breakneck pace, the Exponent Development Team released “Exponent CMS 2.0.0 Beta 3” todaywhich is titled 'Tubular Telepathy'.  This release takes the project even closer to the planned stable release this summer!
